Gail Blanchette and Pat Foley have been making award winning dance costumes in the Boston area for over eighteen years. Gail moved back to her native Maine, and now offers her costume making expertise in Portland and online. Pat continues to help design and decorate our unique costumes.

Our main focus has been ballet, tap, and jazz for children and teens doing regional and national dance competitions. Through the years, we have also made costumes for ballroom dancers, including country-western style, ice skaters, fitness competitors and local theater. Be it classical or whimsical, we can make any type of competition or show costume you will need.

Come see our showroom in the State Theater Building on the corner of Congress and High Streets. In suite 509, you will find samples of our costumes, hair accessories, boas and fabric color cards. Need a costume in a hurry? Sample costumes are available for purchase! In our adjoining workroom, suite 510, you can see how it all comes together from original concept to finished product. We can design a costume for you or bring us your ideas! We use only the best fabrics and threads.

If you are not in Maine, we can still make you a wonderful costume. Call us and we will tell everything you need to know about our online services, from measuring to fitting. We also offer a pattern making service from your designs if you have your own costume maker.

We are happy to travel throughout Maine, NH, and Eastern to Central Massachusetts to host a “Design Day” at your dance school if you have 20 or more dancers who want costumes. Call for details.

We prefer to make solo, duet and trio costumes. Time permitting, we will consider groups.
